A Bit About Me
My name is James Ton and I am a Washington, DC based wedding photographer who specializes in authentic, fun, and candid moments with real, down-to-earth couples. Whether it's an adorable little hug or a hilarious inside joke, that is what I love to capture.
Your personalities are what I love to document. With all the wedding planning and decorating in the world, your personalities are what makes your wedding different from all the other weddings in the universe. So if you two are fun, loving, quirky, edgy, dramatic, cute or cooly laid back, I would love to work with you two on one of the biggest days of your lives together. Capturing whatever it is that makes you two a unique couple.
My photography is very photojournalistic, capturing fun candid moments, with an emphasis on your personalities. As an unobtrustive photographer, I find it important that you actually enjoy your wedding so that the images we make reflect all the fun, silliness, and even the little drama that makes your wedding day so amazing.
A Bit About My Process
We first try and define what you would like for your wedding photography. Whether you would like large prints for your walls, wedding albums, or digital galleries and slideshows, we make goals for your wedding photography.
From there we work towards a wedding schedule that works best for your wedding images. We can schedule extra time to get that perfect portrait or we can devise a plan to allow you to make it to your cocktail hour to create candid moments with your friends and family. We make sure you have a plan to not only ensure we make the images you want for your wedding, but to also make sure you have fun on the big day you have been planning.
Once your wedding day is over, you can expect a few photos within 2 weeks for all of your social media needs. A USB w/ your edited photos along with an online gallery for you to share your photos to friends and families would be completed in about a month. From there, your memories are for yours to enjoy and to use for anything you can dream up.
