You just have to live and life will give you pictures. - Henri Cartier-Bresson
The first time I saw the photographs of Henri Cartier-Bresson, I knew photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! His mantra is exactly how I approach wedding photography. I want you two as a couple to enjoy your wedding, having the best day of your lives, and amazing photographs will come from your joy. I want to capture those moments when you two are loving, laughing, and crying with each other. I want to create images that show how much your families mean to you and how much you mean to them. I want to show off just how fun your friends are and why they made that guest list of yours. My goal is to create real, raw, and authentic photos that remind you two how great life is with the one you want to marry.
Amazing Words from Amazing Couples
It was a pleasure for both my husband and I to work with James. He was flexible and communicated with us before the wedding, answering any questions I had as the bride, and on the day of the wedding he got every photo that I had requested and so many more memorable moments. Our photos are absolutely gorgeous and will be a family heirloom for generations to come. - Genna & David
James was such a great photographer! He was very easy going and understood what we wanted. He was available either by email or phone. He really meshed with our elegant romantic theme to our wedding. We were having a multicultural wedding with a Vietnamese betrothal ceremony before our American wedding ceremony and James captured the cultural and spiritual aspects of both ceremonies very nicely. He and his second photographer (Hanna) captured so many important visuals from our wedding. The first look was elegantly photographed and our wedding party had so much fun at the photo shoot. We have gotten a great deal of compliments from wedding guests on the pictures he took. - Allison & Oscar
James was a joy to work with in the lead-up to our big day. He was patient with my now-husband and I as we warmed up for the camera (quite literally on a cold late fall day) for our engagement photos, which turned out to be spectacular. And our wedding photos the next summer were nothing short of perfect. We did not have a formal wedding party, which meant there was more time for candid photos of guests. This allowed James' real talent to shine, as he is a master at capturing the emotion of the moment. He also took care to note the charming details of our historic venue and the decorations. It's been a couple of weeks since we received the photos and it's been incredibly heartwarming to relive that joyous event every time we go through them. The value could not be surpassed. Many thanks to James and his assistant for their masterful work in capturing these memories! - Philip & John
